L-type geared motors combine a brushless DC motor with a right-angle worm or helical gear reducer in a compact L-shaped package. This design places the motor perpendicular to the output shaft, making it ideal for drive wheel modules, powered trolleys and space-constrained equipment where a straight inline motor would not fit.
